250g caster sugar 

250ml water 

100ml  Verjuice 

Heat water and sugar in a saucepan at medium heat. Once all the sugar is dissolved bring to the boil for around 3-4 minuets then leave to cool. Add 100ml of Verjuice to the dissolved sugar mixture.
